Who Am I?

I’m Danielle, your go-to insurance guru! Like many of you, I started out feeling overwhelmed by the business side of private practice—especially insurance credentialing and billing. When I left the group practice I worked for and opened my own in May 2015, I knew almost nothing about insurance. But I was determined to figure it out!

In just over three months, I successfully transitioned more than 10 insurance panels to my solo practice, applied to 10 more, signed up for an Electronic Health Record (EHR), and learned how to verify benefits and bill insurance companies. I made a lot of mistakes, but I fixed them—and now, I’ve streamlined my entire process.

Today, I use my experience to help other clinicians avoid those same mistakes and build thriving, insurance-based practices. Based in Chicago, IL, I offer in-person and virtual training, specializing in insurance credentialing, billing, and business consultations for mental health clinicians.
